It's not long now until we'll be racing again, and we can't wait!
We're looking forward to welcoming 16 teams to Barmouth on June 19th, and you can read all about them on their team profile pages here.
Team Joy
Dave Butters is bringing his JPK 10.10 and is sailing with son Ian, and friend and regular crew Ian Millard. They are joined by Royal Marines Neil Golding and Sam Dellor and all are first timers in the race.
White Clouds
The White Cloud team is back again with John Donnelly as skipper once more in his 10th race. Both Nicholas Donnelly and Richard Hart have done 7 each and runner Stuart Pitches will be with us for the third time. They've won before and will be looking to win more trophies.
Whisky Galore
Dr. Charles Clarke is returning with Whisky Galore, which is pictured in the photo above at the finish. On board his Nicholson 35 is a team put together through our noticeboard and the team ages range from 23 to 77.
Let's Run
The team name is from the shop owned by ultra runners Shelli Gordon and Lee Kemp who are competing for the first time, but they are with the most experienced crew possible. Geoff West and Dave Bird have done 31 races between them and the team will be in West's X99 Tactix.
Bare Necessities
Bruce Sutherland's Dazcat is the only multihull competing this year and he's returning after a gap of 25 years! The team has two very experienced mountain runners, Chris Near and Tom Gibbs, a former Adventure Racing World Champ.
