Be Grateful... Into the Future

You can be grateful ahead of time.

If you want something in this life, if you are taking the steps toward your dreams, or thinking about the life you want to live… you can elevate yourself with gratitude.

Being grateful… into the future... puts your mind in the perspective that you will follow through, take action, and achieve the things you want. When you allow yourself to practice gratitude in the present moment, you get to thank your future self. This gives your mind the visualization that you have already accomplished your goal.

When you practice being grateful ahead of time, it helps when doubt creeps in, when fear creeps in, or when discomfort creeps in. Because practicing gratitude for what you are going to accomplish holds more power than fear, doubt, or discomfort.

Be thankful that your mind is so powerful, that when you nurture and treat your thoughts well, you can achieve more than you have ever imagined. Be thankful that you can start to notice your emotions, recognize your thoughts, and know that you have the ability to achieve anything with the power of your mindset.

I want you to think about the thing you want most or the goal you want to achieve. Picture yourself achieving that goal. Visualize it all in your mind. When you create this picture and visualization in your mind, you get to feel the positive emotions that come with it and be grateful ahead of time. Deeply believe, put the action in today so that you can be grateful now… and into the future.

BONUS: Try these mindset tools to help you with this practice of being grateful.

1) Think about something you have already accomplished that you are grateful for and ask yourself what emotions come with your accomplishment

2) Think about something you have coming up in the future that you are thankful for and acknowledge that you are creating gratitude ahead of time, and ask yourself what that feels like

3) Fast forward to achieving your goal, consider it already done, and write down all the things that come to mind that you are thankful for

Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
