Kay Blada Recycling’s October 2023 fundraising event and silent auction went very well. Between the silent auction, bake sales, and the individual donations we were able to raise about $700. There was live music, a special table with activities for kids, people and their families were coming and going while everyone was eating nice food from the plant’s restaurant. Love couples were sipping cold drinks, and laughing out loud. It was a super nice day! |

Oceans of thanks to the bands (Tim Stambaugh and friends, and Hanry from Two Mules for Haiti for keeping the space vibing during the whole time with their great music. Thanks to our generous supporters, especially the monthly donors, KBR made it through another year. Although we were not able to raise enough money to fully fund our 2023 basic operation budget; but with the little bit we were able to raise, enabled KBR to remain in operation. |

Now we continue to seek more support to improve and expand our recycling operations, and environment education program in Haiti. With more support we can access more effective recycling collection and processing equipment, and to continue improving our recycling education program. What's next? Well, some thing to look forward to is KBR's 8th anniversary celebration this December. We have not yet selected yet, but we have big plans for our celebration this year. We're offering sponsorship opportunities to Businesses and Organizations that are interested in supporting recycling in Haiti; and KBR will provide space for their logo on our t-shirts, signage, and social media marketing in gratitude:) |
