“This conference is life changing."

The value of diving deeply into our learned belief patterns in the company of other supportive physician colleagues is immeasurable.

Being coached from a place of deep understanding and love helped me make leaps in terms of my understanding of myself and changed my thinking about the story I have told about my career to date.

This conference packs a lot of shifting into a short period of time while allowing for deep rest and connection.”

Your Host: Dr. Jessie Mahoney

Jessie is a physician wellness expert, certified coach, yoga instructor, and board-certified pediatrician.

This is Jessie’s flagship retreat and Jessie is fully present. She facilitates the CME-accredited coaching, leads golden light meditations, teaches daily mindful and restorative yoga, and shares her wisdom, insight, tools, and strategies throughout the small moments of the day.

Jessie was a pediatrician and physician leader at The Permanente Medical Group for 18 years. Jessie has been leading physician wellness retreats since 2015. In 2020, she followed her dream to support her physician colleagues full-time in exactly the ways that would help them the most.

Jessie is a graduate of Dartmouth College and UCSF Medical School. She lives in San Francisco. She is a wife and mom of three young adult sons. In April 2023, she added grandma!

“I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this retreat!

The beautiful setting, the delicious food, the yoga, the small group, the coaching--they all add up to a very personal and supportive experience. It helped me on so many levels.

Jessie is a wise and compassionate coach and guide for this experience. Take the leap and sign up! You will not regret it.” - Family Practice

“Excellent value. 100% worth the time and money. The connection with other women in healthcare is priceless.”

Retreat Chef: Mark Mahoney

There are no caterers, chafing dishes or Sterno at these retreats.

Mark, Jessie’s husband, is our private chef for the week. He is a culinary craftsman whose inspired, organic, vegetarian meals made with love are a long-remembered life experience for those who join us. Mark offers optional teaching kitchen opportunities at each retreat.

Mark learned to cook from his mom, who loved making complicated recipes using strange and hard-to-find ingredients. Mark got his start as a chef working at a food stall in Faneuil Hall during a gap year. After graduating from Cornell, Mark helped open Michel Richard’s flagship DC restaurant Citronelle. While Jessie was in med school and residency, Mark was a stay-at-home dad by day. At night, he worked at Wolfgang Puck’s celebrated SF restaurant, Postrio.

Mark is also an attorney. He and Jessie met in high school and have been together ever since.
