In my new monthly newsletters, I hope to share the latest on where I am showing my artwork, plus information on new art pieces and products, and info on art demonstrations, where you can see and hear me talk about my art process. Though I have been making and selling art for a while, this newsletter is new and a new way for me to keep people up to date on what I am making. For many years, I lived in Wisconsin before moving to the East Coast near the end of 2022. Since the move, I still regularly make art, but instead of acrylic abstracts on stretched canvas, I have been making lot of works on paper and most recently using sketchbooks to explore how to use jelly gouache paints or to just draw with conte crayon and oil pastels. This past year, I joined a local art league; took a plein air palette knife painting workshop, where I painted outdoors; and I had the opportunity to exhibit in the area a handful of times. Additionally, I participated in a few virtual markets on Facebook, where I live streamed art demonstrations and showed work to online visitors. I have a couple of group exhibitions I am a part of this Spring. This month, I have three pieces on view in two different group shows. March 1 - 31: Guilford Art League's Member Show at the Guilford Free Library, Guilford, CT March 31 - May 5: Trinity Spring Art Exhibition: The Abundance of Peace at Trinity Baptist Church, New Haven, CT

Later this spring and summer, I am participating in three virtual markets on Facebook. In addition to products sold and/or made by small business owners, there are sales and live streamed events & demonstrations.The dates are: May 22 - 27 June 19 - 24 July 17 - 22

March 22 - 25 I am participating in a virtual market on Facebook. During the market, I am live streaming some art demonstrations, where I will show for viewers how I make a painting or drawing. If you can't make the live streams, no worries, I am uploading the recordings of the demos onto my YouTube channel, where you can watch them at your convenience. Days and Times of Demo Live Streams/recording: Sunday, March 24 at 7pm (CST) / 8 pm (EST). Monday, March 25 at 7 pm (CST) / 8 pm (EST).
