Don't be misled by misconceptions about the value of quality staging!  Skip this essential step, and you and your sellers are missing out on getting the house in front of many more emotional buyers, just looking for a house they can call home!  Staging is KEY in ANY market.

MISCONCEPTION: 

This house is probably going to sell for what the neighbor's house sold for.

   

      DETAILS:  A staged home will sell for 17% MORE on average than a similar house that was not staged.  This includes vacant and occupied homes.  Staged homes also sell up to 87% faster than non-staged homes.

 

According to NAR, over 95% of buyers are online FIRST, before they visit or even call you for a showing!  Photos of beautifully pulled-together rooms will attract more buyers. Nothing, however, can match the feeling buyers get when they are walking through a beautifully staged home.  They're more likely to want to buy, just based on their emotions.

 

 

Senario #1:

   A vacant house down the street is for sale, looking like this:  >>>>

 

 

But your sellers' house is professionally staged, like this: >>>>

 

Your sellers will most likely sell for 17% more, and up to 87% faster than the unstaged home!

MISCONCEPTION: 

Getting the house on the market ASAP is more important than staging.

   

      DETAILS:  At Home Transformations Staging, we do our best to not slow down the selling process and to get your staging done ASAP!  But for a seller to say they aren't going to have a consultation or stage a vacant house because they want to list immediately, that is like spending all day preparing an elaborate meal, then serving it up half-cooked! 

 

Why not finish strong and stage it to sell in the best light?  It's going to end up costing the seller in the end when they take shortcuts, by lower offers, price reductions, and more DOM.  Taking the time to invest in staging will always reap the benefits, over and over!
