Zack Fletcher's first performance of the year streamed live on Thursday from Bigfoot Studios! Check out his showcase of new and reimagined material over on Facebook. Along with everyone else, 2020 wasn't exactly what we envisioned. Instead of the big year we anticipated, it ended up being one of reassessment and reflection. Despite the challenges, we're proud of the content we were able to put out there and thankful for the continued support. Check out a recap of some highlights below. We wish everyone a better year in 2021, and as always thank you for listening! -MITA |

Before the pandemic, MITA started the year performing at some of their favorite local venues like Logan's Irish Pub and Howard's Club H. And late summer allowed for a few outdoor, socially-distanced performances at other favorites like Fins Seafood and Grille and Twin Oast Brewing. |

MITA's second official music video released on March 6, 2020. The video for "Chase Away the Ghost" was directed by John Fleischmann and stars Kirsten Koschnitzke and Zack Jacobs. It tells a powerful tale of love, mourning, and how memories of what we've lost can help find a way to heal. |

The tour that never was... Much of the beginning of 2020 was spent booking and finalizing details for MITA's first regional tour. It was disappointing to cancel, but they look forward to the next opportunity to share their music live and tour! |

Two MITA members released solo music in 2020: Mike Williams released his smooth jazz/hip hop fusion EP, Sax & Chill, in February. Zack Fletcher released a collection of beautiful folk and classical inspired guitar instrumentals called Vignettes in May. Both are streaming everywhere! |

The two also collaborated on a cover video of Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come" in the wake of the protests and civil unrest over the summer. |

As live performances became less frequent in 2020, MITA considered other alternatives for sharing music. They sent files back and forth over a couple months resulting in the 'Songs from a Distance' video series. Each song and video was recorded separately from each of their homes then edited together to create a series of unreleased originals and cover songs. Check out the full series playlist here. |

One of MITA's favorite moments of 2020 was receiving this image of a painting from artist James Fleeson who saw them perform at the end of 2019 at Pheonix Brewing Company! Check out more of his artwork here. |
