Virtual Events with Death Positive DC
May 5, 2020
Dear friend,
How are you doing today? This week? This month? I ask because I'm finding that every day/week/month in my own life is bringing more change than ever before.
Some changes to my life have had sweet outcomes (for example, my family can now take walks and have dinner together during the week). Some new circumstances have presented challenges and required flexibility and creative thinking. Required reworking, replanning, and rescheduling. It's been hard to think too far ahead, but sometimes for logistical reasons I've had to. I haven't met anyone who has solid answers about the future...so if you still feel uncertain, please know you aren't alone.
I'm not sure when I'll hold in-person events again. For the month of May, I'll continue to hold all my events online (and for free). May 15th is Death Positive DC's 3rd anniversary/birthday. If you aren't too exhausted from being online, I hope you'll join me for a fun (and short) virtual gathering to celebrate and say hi to each other.

There is a list of virtual events (organized by me *and* other people in the DC-area) in the announcement section of the Facebook group. There are 19 events already listed! Contact event organizers to confirm details for yourself. I am not always aware of changes or cancelations.
If you can, take a look at the full moon this week (especially around May 6th/7th). May's moon is called the Flower Moon (because of all the flowers that bloom this time of year) and it's the last supermoon of 2020. I've been watching it each night this week, and it's already bright and beautiful.
Take care, and please email me if you have questions or need more information.
Warmly,
Sarah
