Volunteer with CEP Calgary! Connecting Environmental Professionals (CEP) Calgary is dedicated to promoting opportunities for emerging and established environmental and sustainability professionals in Calgary. Volunteering with CEP Calgary’s management team is a great way to get involved and expand your professional network. Hear from a few of our volunteer board and management team members about why they volunteer with CEP Calgary. |
Nisha Saini, Director- Chair “I work in the water field, and I love it - but volunteering with CEP Calgary has expanded my network to a wider variety of sustainability and environmental knowledge and professionals that I never would have been exposed to otherwise. I get to be a part of convening the important conversations that we need to tackle some of our largest environmental issues faced, all while having fun and building invaluable soft skills.” |
Miriam Clark, Director- Marketing and Communications “The interesting thing about environmental sustainability in Calgary is that it is fully integrated into so many companies, and becomes an important part of many peoples’ careers. I like volunteering with CEP Calgary because it helps me connect and learn from a variety of inspirational professionals working in all sectors to advance sustainable development goals.” |
Alana Day, Management Team Lead “I work in the risk field but studied sustainability during my undergrad. CEP Calgary allows me to stay relevant in the field by gaining new ideas to incorporate sustainability into risk and it has exposed me to different topics/conversations that I otherwise would not have a chance to have. It truly brightens my day knowing that I am a part of an initiative that enables me to help connect individuals together to spark ideas and dialogue that is changing our world little by little.” |
