Closet New Moon to Earth since the Middle Ages!

 
According to www.timedate.com this new moon is closer than any moon in 1,337 years! With this awareness and the moon so close to earth (this is what makes it a Super moon), and the fact it's occurring @1 Aquarius - this lunar phase marks significant beginnings for us a a society (which Aquarius represents).

Aquarius-- the water bearer, an AIR sign btw--Moon and Sun land in the house of relationships (for the USA) and reflects new partnerships, relationships based in fairness, balance and justice. Add in Saturn, the ancient ruler of Aquarius, paired up with Venus and we see serious committed partnerships are at hand. One's you can depend on.

We are likely to meet these folks while joining up with and interacting with like-minded friends and groups (meet-ups, parties, gatherings...)

Pluto snuggled up with this lunation offers the shadow power play to express or the possibility to shine so bright it help's reveal what is hidden or that which needs to be let-go of, released. Most likely playing out big time in the collective via power-money grabs.

It's almost like we are releasing everything from the past few years, and beginning again. The Chinese Lunar Year of the Rabbit starts on January 22, right in tune with this New Moon and Uranus going direct--the other planet that rules Aquarius--the same day.

Remember when planets station retrograde or direct, it's like a big tanker turning course. We surely feel it collectively, so be sure to practice groundedness because many times it feels destabilizing, like we are on the moving ship.
