Outreach

Book'em

For our October Social Outreach, we will be collecting children's books for Book'em.

They can use new, like-new, and very gently used children’s books in great condition - from board books to chapter books (ages 0-18).

Clean out those bookcases and share some of your favorite books with kids who need them!

The mission of Book'em is to inspire a love of reading in low-income children in Davidson county through their Reading Is Fundamental program. RIF provides enthusiastic reading volunteers in 15 metro schools. Volunteers go to their assigned elementary classroom 5 times per year for 30 minutes and deliver brand new books to the students. If you would like to find out more about how you can volunteer for this program, click here.
