How is Bambinos funded?

Bambinos is run entirely by volunteers. Even without paying any salaries, however, our cost of operations in 2023 was roughly $80,500.00. Monetary donations & grants received in 2023 totaled roughly $74,250.00. Our funds come in several ways. During the past year, we have received monetary and in-kind donations from the following:

Sustainers - monthly gifts of $50 - $99

Why should I support the mission of Bambinos?

Are you looking for a way to support Bambinos?

We are often asked if we take donations of various items. The answer to that question is, “YES!”

Here's a list of the items we always need:

Diapers
(Especially larger sizes and pull-ups, OK if not a complete package)
Wipes
Formula (all types, no expired food, please)
Receiving blankets
Hygiene items
Safety items (outlet covers, drawer latches, door knob covers)
Car seats (new only, please)
Baby gates (new only, please)
Funds for any of the above items

In addition to these items, we are always in need of people who can pledge to send us a monthly gift that we can put toward our expenses. We call these wonderful people Bambinos Supporters, Sustainers, Builders, and Dreamers. A pledge for as little as $5 per month can still make a big difference.

Our hope is to use money raised to directly bless our community by funneling it right back into car seats, diapers, wipes, etc. This means that we still need monthly supporters to help us pay for our rent and utilities. What has Bambinos done in the past year?

From January 1 - December 31, 2023, we served 441 children. Of those 441 children’s families, 257 of them were new registrants.

We provided these families with:

1,321 packs of diapers
1,311 packs of wipes
322 cans of formula
53 new baby gift baskets (including 212 packs of diapers included in the count above)
391 pieces of used baby equipment
61 cars seats
84 other safety items
Nearly 2,900 hours of volunteer service given

In addition to this...

Host Two Swap & Shop events where we were able to give more equipment than what was listed above.
Partner with David Mohr and his ministry, “The Garage” to give 38 oil changes away.
Host our first annual Client Christmas Party AND Live Nativity
