Piano Players in the Park

A Socially Distanced Summer Recital

Date and Time: Sunday, August 2 at 5:00 PM

Location: Keehner Park Amphitheater. Directions

After much anticipation, we are excited to announce that our plans for the outdoor recital at the Keehner Park Amphitheater have been approved by the appropriate officials! Because of the wonderful amount of space and the layout of the outdoor amphitheater, this will truly be a contact-free recital, and there will be more than ample room for families to be spaced at least 10-20 feet apart from one another, likely even further.

Student safety was our top priority in planning this recital, and we know everyone will be pleased with the precautions taken to ensure that all students can safely participate and all families can feel confident in attending.

We will be sharing specific guidelines and details in a separate email to families within the coming week.

Piano Maestro Hall of Fame

Our numbers are up from last month! In May, our students completed over 40 hours of training through Piano Maestro collectively. Last month, the number was raised to just over 82 hours! The top performer this month is Diya, who collected almost 41 hours and practiced 253 songs. These students are also being recognized for their performance on the app: Shrada, Anish, Jeet, and John.

Give the Gift of Music!

The current pandemic is a great reminder of how much we need music! According to the NAMM (National Association of Music Manufacturers), the world is listening to and performing music in levels not seen since the 1980s!

If you know someone who is interested in starting or continuing their piano studies, please share this newsletter with them!
