Where has the year gone!? Can you believe that it's already spring and we have only 2 months left in our second school year! As you can tell, by the lag in sending out regular newsletter updates, our school year has been a busy one! God is so good! We would like to give you a brief update on ALL that God has done through and in Legacy over the last year and a half.

At this mid-point in our 2nd year of operation, we have: 

• a beautiful school body with 63 students (48 families) who attend 16 different churches in our area. 

• an excellent, hard-working staff who love the Lord

• a complete Biblical Worldview curriculum

• an online student information and tuition system

• a fully furnished working facility

• joy-filled weekly chapels led by local ministers  

• families on our campus for classroom and school-wide events regularly

• an active and productive parent organization (L-CAPA)  

• engaging enrichment classes--offered to LCA students and homeschool students--taught by our staff, parents and community members. 

• participated in two events at the state capital as a school, as well as the Nevada Day Parade

• carried out two amazing and successful fundraisers and have supported Samaritan’s Purse shoe boxes, the Lions Club glasses collection, and Life Choices baby bottle drive and clothing drive. 

• served in local convalescent homes, a local food bank, picked up trash near our campus, helped at our campus child development center, at a horse ranch and served in our local neighborhoods and churches.  

• raised and provided in-house financial assistance, as well assistance with the Nevada Opportunity Scholarship Fund to LCA families.

• held our first Kindergarten graduation and had our first 8th grade class graduate out of Legacy.

   

   This provision is no doubt a reflection of God's goodness! Thank you for all of your prayer and support as we continue on in this mission to partner with families as they raise their children to live out their Christian faith by understanding the world through the lens of Scripture and the love of Jesus!

Our Christmas Musical this year was a Tree Lot Christmas. Mrs. Ingram, our LCA Musical Director and Kindergarten teacher, led our students in another amazing performance. The students shared the Gospel story as they performed this joyous musical. We had a packed house for our Christmas Musical performance and JOY of Jesus fundraiser.

Our 2nd Annual Walk of Faith Fundraising Event will kick off this month! This is LCA's biggest fundraiser of the year! Funds from our Walk of Faith are used to continue this work of pouring eternity into the next generation!
