The ICC - International Conference Center is a place where not only business meetings and conferences are held but it also offers space for your private gatherings, such as birthday parties, wedding receptions, anniversary events, baby showers, etc. The location offers plenty of indoor space that can be utilized and decorated according to your preferences. Did you know that the ICC also comes with a hotel? ... The General Eisenhower Hotel is directly connected to the ICC. It offers 20 fully equipped rooms incl. family rooms with wifi, flat screen TV, laundry room, free parking, microwave, refrigerator, etc. What a great option to utilize if you have family coming to visit and you are running out of space. It's also very convenient to have a room when having a private gathering at the ICC and you don't want to take the drive back home the same night. Interview with JAY: What drove your interest in physical activities? I have always had the love and interest in physical and sports coaching since I was young, the gym and sports in general give people a lot of joy and its health benefits is just overwhelming. Fitness is not just sporting prowess but also all aspects of nutrition and mental strength. All of these things are important to me as I progress through my career. What drives you as an instructor? Firstly, I must say that mental health is a big thing that we all have failed to talk about as people in the past. In my opinion, sports and physical activities like Spinning and HIIT classes are a great place for people to stay mentally resilient and strong for the day and even weeks ahead. I have had people share how their participation in my classes have positively affected their physical and mental state. What is your favorite part of instructing fitness classes as JFC? The enthusiasm of fitness groups also provides an additional impetus for the instructor to develop new classes and to further enthuse the participants to improve their general fitness levels. I had this class with maximum people of 12, now I'm proud to say that we are the biggest class in the whole of JFC Brunssum with over 50 members. We keep growing bigger as a club because of the friendly atmosphere we have created and also my class keeps me going.
