Getting comfortable with the word love, love does not always have to be so serious and intense.

 

I always tell my good friends (both male and female), that I love them.

The love I have for my friends may be a different kind of love that I have for my wife and kids, but it’s still love. But what does it mean to use the word ‘LOVE’?

 

The dictionary defines love as; an intense feeling of deep affection, a great interest and pleasure in something.

 

But love is too powerful a word to only have one definition.

Love is limitless.

Love is intense and love is deep.

Love is something you feel, for yourself or for another.

Love can also refer to a strong liking for something, an object or a hobby.

Love has many senses, both as a verb and a noun.

It’s difficult to explain what love is because love must be felt.

Love is one of the most intense human emotions you can feel in life.

 

Love can help you forgive.

Love can help you to accept.

Love can help you become healthier.

Love can give you strength.

Love is powerful beyond measure.

Do not be afraid to use the word love, as it has many meanings behind it.

ATTACK ADDICTION 5K

March 5th @ 9am

New Castle, DE

We are running/walking for a cause. Join the VIDA PERFORMANCE team in our first 5K!

The atTAcK addiction E-Racing the Stigma 5K is so much more than just a race; it’s a movement. Comprised primarily of participants who have been personally impacted by the disease of addiction by either overcoming an addiction, having lost a loved one to addiction, and/or currently living with an addicted loved one, it has been described as a spiritual experience. 

Proceeds from the event will benefit atTAcK addiction, a grassroots 501(c)(3) charitable foundation established to assist individuals and families impacted by addiction. The organization provides support for recovering addicts and their loved ones, advocates for policy changes, educates families about opiate addiction and treatment options, works to prevent drug use, and strives to end the stigma of the disease.

Completing a 5K is an exciting goal for brand new runners (or for those who have toed the start line before). A 5K race is 3.1 miles and a great distance for first-time runners and/or walkers. It’s the perfect way to get in shape and have some fun while exercising.

 

Even if you don’t consider yourself a runner (yet), almost anyone can be ready to run or walk a 5K by starting slowly, learning the basics, and following a smart training plan. And VIDA PERFORMANCE can help get you to the finish line! Join our team as we support an amazing cause and have fun while doing it!
