Faster, cheaper and better!  We're combining a lot of different tools in our processes, and to do so we have a bunch of scripts and extensive excel sheets that show us how buildings and HVAC systems perform. But we're going to be moving all that into OpenModelica. OpenModelica reduces development time and saves the client money while providing a better product. ===Why are we using OpenModelica?=== · It's visual, you're drawing a schematic of the system. · The software automatically calculates the interaction of different components. · This is an accurate representation of reality. It allows us to troubleshoot faulty control logic in HVAC systems before they are installed. · Less time on model adjustments means we can easily adjust to actual situations and include innovation in our projects. · And some interesting things for special projects; it allows us to model parametric systems. And we can provide our clients with a small program of their systems. ||OpenWhat?|| OpenModelica is the only free open-source modelling package that has modelling, simulation, and optimization abilities. It can be used by anyone to work with mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc. OpenModelica is a toolbox for engineers and scientists to develop multiphysics system models in an intuitive way.
