Glory to Jesus, my friends! We worship Him with all our hearts in every way! I'm guessing you're familiar with 2 Corinthians 12:9. Paul pleads with God for healing but He responds, "My grace is sufficient for you (for My power is perfected in weakness)." It's one of those stories that makes us squirm a bit. Yes, we "get it," but being perfectly honest, we'd love that healing anyway haha! Glory to Jesus! But if I may offer a thought on that first half of the Lord's response, "My grace is sufficient for you"... |

Rather than a refusal of Paul's cries, could it be that the Lord is calling Paul to an understanding of the true depths and riches of His grace; its vastness and power; its all-sufficiency to raise him high and above whatever human need - and open the floodgates of God's kingdom on his behalf! If I may..."My precious child, My grace on your behalf is wider than the widest oceans; as infinite as the galaxies beyond; as powerful as My Word and Spirit. Cast yourself into it, My child. Lift your eyes from human concerns and raise them to meet Mine. I love you, My child...I love you." Glory to the living God! |

On The Gospel According to John, I'm thrilled to share a text I just received: "The drives are ready." Translation: "Prep is finished and editing can begin." Glory to Jesus!
Loosely speaking, post production involves: 1) prep, 2) picture editing...

...3) sound editing, 4) visual effects, 5) sound mixing, 6) color grading. So you can see we have a long way to go. Please continue to "pray us through," step by step. And if I may invite your continued giving as every step is very costly. Thank you so much! |

Even as we begin editing John, please know we continue to serve our South African kiddies. Because of ever-changing travel restrictions we're still unable to send a ministry team to them (we had one planned for January - but then this latest round of restrictions). We can only trust God and continue to provide their daily meals - which are even more of a lifeline in the fall-out of all the shut-downs, etc. At the same time Alison's Choice reaches more and more hungry hearts. Even while we were filming, broadcast requests came in from South Korea ... |

Maria and I stand in awe of all the Lord has done and continues to do - and so very aware that you stand with us in your intercession, giving and encouragement. Yes, we read every note, email, message... and praise God for you! Editing John will be all-consuming for weeks to come. Please keep us in prayer for God's leadership. There are "rules" to editing - but this is a film about Him. That means obedience to Him no matter what! Glory to Jesus! |
