Sure it's chilly, but do you ever take the time to stand outside on a cold day with your eyes closed to feel the sunshine on your face? Oh, it's the absolute best! Deep breathes of crisp air, and the smell of the leaves changing.
I feel the same about stepping into the spring air (which isn't too far away now), but there is something extra special about this time of year. Almost like a blanket being tightened around our shoulders, as we all cozy up inside our pine-scented homes. It's time to slow down, enjoy being with loved ones, and watch the world be painted a pearlescent white for a few short months.
