NGPC RIDGECREST GRANDPRIX

OCT 2-3

NGPC Round 7 Ridgecrest, CA, October 2-3. One of the last few true Grand Prix races left on the circuit for this series and we return after a two year hiatus. It was hot, dusty and packed full of square edges. This track is unique as it offers a mix of sand and hard pack surfaces so it is always keeping you honest.

Mason Ottersberg comes into this round sitting in 2nd for the 250 pro championship and after the weekend still sits 1 point ahead of 3rd keeping his 2nd place position so far. Thomas Dunn puts in a consistent ride, Tyler Lynn found his flow and is feeling better after his injuries. Justin and Ava both put it on the box for the team this weekend.

JUSTIN SEEDS

2ND

VET PRO

Justin had the lead all race and fatigued at the end which cost him the win. He still finished 2nd behind Robby Bell after another epic battle.

In his words: "Had a great race going for me and was leading most of the race, but right at the end I just didn't have anymore steam as I pushed hard in the beginning. Another second place, but had fun leading some laps."

AVA SILVESTRI

3RD

WOMEN'S PRO

Ava found some raw Moto speed we haven't seen out of her all season. She ended up beating some decorated women for the 3rd place spot. We are proud to see her make some waves.

In her words: "Another solid weekend putting the blue machine on the box once again! Although the track this weekend wasn’t my cup of tea, I was able to adjust to the terrain after a couple laps in. Which was a little too late to try to make any moves on 2nd but that’s what we’re working on. Just happy to keep being up on the podium every race and working towards that next spot and making it out of every race weekend safe with no injuries! Not much to say about this weekend but I’m happy with the continuous consistency!"

MASON OTTERSBERG

5TH

   250 PRO

Mason had a terrible start and worked hard to get upfront earlier, but just didn't have the day he needed to get on the box. He rode hard the entire time, just didn't have the extra speed needed to make up the time loss from the start.

In his words: "Frustrated with the weekend as I felt really good and on pace, but just couldn't make up the time after the start. I gave it my usual 110% to the end and couldn't get it done. Ready to hammer down again and the next round."

TYLER LYNN

6TH

PRO

Tyler had a great weekend as he is finally getting through his small injuries and he is getting back to form. Another consistent finish for him.

In his words: "Pro race I got off to a third place start made some stupid line choice mistakes the first half of the lap and got passed by a few riders. I found a flow quickly in the first few laps and kept a good pace going and my line choice was getting better every lap. After a quick pit I was able to really put some intensity into my riding and things started clicking from their. I felt amazing the last few laps and bring it home for another 6th place. Thanks to everyone for making this dream possibly"

THOMAS DUNN

7TH

PRO 250

Thomas looked really good this weekend. He found a flow and rode hard to a 7th place finish. Slowly, but surely making some progress!

In his words: "Another 7th. Decent jump on the start but went backwards the first few turns and had to make some passes. I was able to finally feel more like myself during the race. Going to keep working. Thanks to everyone who makes it possible for us to go racing. Looking forward to the next one."
