TammiR’s new textile pieces are a modern collage of her favourite Landscapes and Seascapes.
“During the recent Pandemic Lockdowns, I yearned for the space and tranquillity of my favourite places: the fresh open spaces, the sound of the sea and the beautiful landscapes. I decided to replicate the memories in my mind. Using my minds own sketchbook, I choose bold bright colours, embellished with various mixed media and hand embroidery, to keep these thoughts very much alive. Ever hopeful for a far better future; returning to these beautiful places once again: not only in my mind.” |

Dot Ronaldson has recently joined us. She particularly enjoys creating colourful fabric and painted paper collages. Dot uses free motion embroidery to add detail and definition to these. “I like to explore ways to increase the three-dimensional quality of my work and add texture, especially with hand embroidery." |

Tutor News We welcome Elizabeth Williamson to our Team of Tutors. Come and share her expertise in Shetland Lace Knitting. The work of the very talented knitters of the Shetlands is world renown and still very popular to this day. Congratulations go to Toni Peers who recently gained her PMC Certificate as an Instructor in Metal Clay Techniques. We have numerous courses running with Toni throughout 2021, in Silver Clay & Enamelling. |
