Talent development and career planning go hand-in-hand. |

|
Hello! I have shared my love of lifelong learning and building a growth mindset before. Both are related to the focus for this month's newsletter: talent development. Regardless of your role in the organization, you contribute to a learning culture and the career development of those around you. |

You might be thinking, "how?" Being transparent about your own approach to personal and professional development is one way. Creating opportunities for others to participate in action learning is another. As I share in my recent Medium article, a focus on talent development is especially important for attracting, retaining and preparing high potential employees. If you are feeling a little lost in your career development approach or think your team could use some focused time, I recently wrote about creating a career plan connected to your purpose, strengths and reputation which is based on a workshop I offer teams. Check it out and let me know if you want to learn more. Thanks for reading. ~Jill |
