Maker Faire Magic

SewGreen@Rochester had a great time at the Maker Faire this year!  We took part in both the Student STEAM Fest on Friday and the Maker Faire on Saturday!  It was good to see and interact with people of all ages who felt inspired to learn, sew and create!

Thank you Maker Faire for all that you do and for awarding us the Maker of Merit ribbon!  And a big thank you to our wonderful volunteers - Mark, Josefina, Linda D., Pam, Tom, Paula, Marcia, Deb, and Jennifer.  Our booth ran smoothly because of your proficient help!

Creative Friends

We just love seeing what everyone creates with materials from SewGreen and we love sharing them with you in our newsletter!  Share your photos with us by sending us an email to sewgreenrochester@gmail.com

Josefina's made this beautiful and sentimental quilt for her daughter!  It's made with artwork that her daughter made, drawn with fabric markers when she was younger and with fabric from SewGreen.  We love this so much!  Definitely a future heirloom piece!

Laura sent us some photos of her project pictures and thanked us for the inspiring & affordable materials.  Here are some lovely mittens she made!

Thank you for shopping at SewGreen@Rochester and thank you for sharing your creative projects with us!

Notice!  Some winter days in the Rochester area are just too dangerous for driving.  Please watch our Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter accounts for announcements of shop closures.  When in doubt?  Please, choose to be safe! Thanks!
