Our next release will be Rowan Oake: Air and Stone. This is one of our latest pilots (stand-alone books that could lead to an episodic series if there's enough of an interest). Rowan Oake is a cop whose career isn't going anywhere. Or at least, that was until she stopped the mayor's wife from being kidnapped, with a spell that shouldn't have worked. That was enough to get her career the kick in the pants that it needed. However, when someone in her childhood coven ends up dead, she is torn between doing her job, protecting her family, and dealing with the magic that is only starting to blossom within herself once more. Look for Rowan Oake: Air and Stone, coming out November 10th. |

Did you know that we also have audiobooks? We're currently working through all our previous books, trying to include them in our current audiobook collection. But going forward, all books, including Rowan Oake: Air and Stone, will now be released with an audiobook. These are only available on Google Play at the moment, but we are still looking into other avenues as well. Check out our Audiobook page on the website for which titles are currently available. |

I'd like to start off this month's newsletter by welcoming our new subscribers. We had a great time at Collingswood this weekend, with new people signing up. I hope you enjoy your time here. For those that keep an eye on our writing schedule page, you'll notice that Janitor/Spy is no longer our 48th book. I've started working on Reluctant Supervillain, because I had a bunch of ideas on it floating around in my head, begging to get down on the page. It's been going pretty well so far, though I'm still working on landing on the character's voice, as happens with many of my characters when first starting on them. It usually shapes up by the middle of the book then gets filtered through the previous chapters during editing. The story overall is interesting and I'm hoping people enjoy it when it comes out next year. |

Another Collingswood Book Festival on the books. Each year, sales get better, and I get better at selling. This year, I missed my restock by a couple of days, so I didn't have the books I was hoping to have. Still, plenty of books sold, and I have a better idea on which books are going to go the distance, and which I'll be putting aside. One of the benefits of writing as many books as I do is that I can survive a flop or two (or three or four) coming out each year. Unfortunately, Collingswood is the last book event for the year. I'm still hoping to find more events nearby that I can head to. I'll keep you posted here as always. |
