MYAN WA Harmony Youth Panel Join the Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network of Western Australia in celebrating Harmony Week this year. You will hear from young people from multicultural, migrant and refugee backgrounds about their experiences and reflections on many issues such as multiculturalism, youth representation, motivation, leadership, and community. Our panelists include Shout Out speakers, our exceptional young people from migrant, refugee and multicultural backgrounds telling their stories. Nominations for the WA Youth Awards 2021 are now open The Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia is excited to launch the 2021 event, taking place on Friday 9 April at the WA Museum Boola Bardip to kick off Youth Week WA. There are many awards available including: the Minister for Youth’s Most Outstanding Youth Worker Award, the Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia - AHCWA Positive Achievement Award, the Propel Youth Arts WA Creative Contribution Award and many more! Policy & Advocacy Manager + Regional Programs Manager The Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia is hiring for two exciting, brand new roles: a Policy & Advocacy Manager and a Regional Programs Manager. The Regional Programs Manager will work 30 hours a week to establish and manage YACWA's work across regional WA and lead the statewide Youth Networks of Practice Project, building relationships and identifying new opportunities to support the youth sector and young people throughout regional Western Australia. 'Inspire Me' Digital Literacy Course for Employability Skills The Inspire Me Digital Literacy Course for Employability Skills is a free course for migrants and refugees who are eligible. This hands-on course teaches participants to: use a computer, create word documents & resume, email and internet knowledge, explore career pathways and job search.
