Our Biweekly Newsletter -  4 April 2018

Check out what we've been up to so far this month & what's coming up next!

Thank you for visiting the shop and for bringing along your friends!

Happy April!

We started April with our Monster Hand Puppet Camp!  There are lots of creative ideas happening here with the help of our teacher Tom Bohrer.  Tom, Mary, and Elizabeth are Puppet Trio, a group which grew out of the summer 2016 Marionette Camp.  We can't wait to see how all of these puppets turn out!

Class Pictures

We have some photos of class projects in the works as well as finished items to share!

Alley made this great woven wall hanging with yarn from Scrappy Land in our Frame Weaving Class last month!

Josefina is in the Make a Throw Quilt Class.  She is incorporating drawings that her daughter made when she was young, to create this great keepsake!  It's so much fun to see the stages of progression!

Some of our students at the Macrame Jar or Plant Hanger Class we had in March.  Their projects are turning out great, and we can't wait to see pictures of them in use!

Creative Projects

Faith is one of our volunteers at SewGreen@Rochester.  She found some great wool fabric at the shop, and made this fantastic skirt!  Perfect to wear for the spring weather!

Pam picked up some crochet string and trims from our shop, and made these adorable Easter eggs with fun treats inside!

Thank you all for sharing your pictures, and for your donations!  If you'd like to share pictures of your projects with us, please send an email to - sewgreenrochester@gmail.com.
