Interweave Crochet Magazine |

We're in Interweave Crochet Magazine! In May of this year we took part in Love Across the USA. This was a community public art project started by Olek. Our billboard honoured one of Rochester's best-known women: Susan B. Anthony. The billboard hung on the side of our building entrance for about a month in the Susan B. Anthony Neighbourhood. |
|
|
We were thrilled to see not only our mural but also the mural of Harriet Tubman on the Schweinfurth Art Center in Auburn, New York. You too can get involved with the Love Across the USA Project by contacting them through their website! |

We were surrounded by friends, family, volunteers, and members of the community on Saturday, December 2nd. What a wonderful way to celebrate our 2 Year Anniversary! We had coffee, tea, snacks, and a SewGreen cake. Barbra Hoffman gave a lovely speech about our community, and gave us this beautiful picture of her mother Adele, which helps remind us just how much our lives really are stitched together through time, family, friends, and our community. |

From Beautiful Knit Tunics, to Crocheted Creatures, to Wearable art, there's something for everyone with our classes. BUT if one of our classes hasn't been offered in a while and you've been waiting for a specific one to take place again, please let us know by sending us an email, or give us a call. We'd also love to hear from you if you have any class suggestion, especially if it's something we haven't offered yet! |

Peggylee, on the left, working with a couple of her students in the Beautiful Knit Tunics class. They learned how to create an individual pattern, pick out a stretch-knit fabric, and used the serger to put it all together. They even used the cover stitch setting on the serger to finish up their tunics! |

A potted plant doll transformer was the inspiration for the Crochet Creatures class, and the Felt & Button Jewelry class is coming up in January! |

Notice! Some winter days in the Rochester area are just too dangerous for driving. Please watch our Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter accounts for announcements of shop closures. When in doubt? Please, choose to be safe! Thanks! |
