Appreciation and Gratitude

We are truly amazed at the wealth of knowledge of flora and fauna in the group of volunteers today. In particular, we learned about the Wooly Bear Caterpillar and native plants for this installation. This rain garden sponsorship will require routine maintenance, and we foresee this becoming an annual volunteer clean-up experience.

Note: we are not gathering tomorrow (Sunday) because we finished all the work just after 10 AM today. We're not kidding when we quote John Haywood and say, "Many hands make light work." It's true! Between our friends at Ambler Mennonite Church, Red Tail Restoration & Land Management, Ambler EAC, and our awesome volunteers, we finished in less than 2 hours! That must be a record.

The day features art, live music, food, craft beer and wine tastings with something for everyone including a chalk art contest for children. Join other poets, musicians, and artists of the 100 Thousand Poets for Change across the world in a demonstration to promote peace and sustainability and a call for social, environmental and political change.
