Board Developments:
We are in the process of installing an electronic court booking system - this will help us make the premises more secure, cut down on people using the courts without paying and provide an avenue to market to local tennis players.  This should be in place before Christmas.  No doubt there'll be some teething problems but this should be a positive step forward.
We have replaced the PA system....the previous system was over 30 years old so didn't owe us a lot......  The PA was put to good use on Opening Day and the Quiz Night and worked beautifully!

Thanks to Dave Ford for organising a drone to take some photos on opening day.  This is a spectacular shot from above the hardcourts stretching back to the city skyline.

Congratulations to Trish Haffenden on being awarded our club member of the year for last year.  Trish has been on the Board as Ladies Captain and previously as Junior Co-ordinator.  Trish does a fantastic job putting teams together and supporting our younger ladies playing State League and Division 1.

Congratulations to Debbie Napier who was selected as the WA Tennis Official of the Year at the recent TennisWest Awards night.  
 
Debbie has been a lineseperson at Davis Cup, Hopman Cup and is returning to Melbourne for her 4th Australian Open.  She has been on the Melbourne Park centre court as a linesmen for Djokovic and Wawrinka.  
 
In addition, Debbie has progressed through the ranks as a referree and is looking at becoming a white badge referee next year.

QUIZ NIGHT
