Current Projects

Hawaii!!! Curt was gone almost the entire month of April getting drywall hung in the house. We had an unfortunate theft incident right before he got there. Although they stole some tools and housewares, they didn't damage the structures or vandalize anything- so we are grateful for that!

We'd love to get done this year and have it ready for guests! It will be open for friends and family so if you're interested please let us know.

I'll be getting a calendar and rates together when we get a little

closer to being finished. It's located in the south-western area of the Big Island, almost half-way between Kona and Hilo.

the view once you step inside the front door. Soon to be a pool out there!

standing in the kitchen, with the large sliding pocket doors in the dining area. perfect view for a cup of morning coffee!

Maintenance Reminders

april showers bring...

 may flowers!

getting a head start on pesky weeds? avoid using chemicals like round up on newly emerging dandelions. Our precious pollinators rely on these first emerging flowers for food before the rest of the flowers bloom in the later spring/early summer. Leave what you can and pull them before they go to seed.

  • test all gfci outlets

  • remove any exterior vent covers

  • clean gutters

  • deep clean the microwave, ovens, and outside bbqs

  •  get pools ready for summer swimming

Maria's Color Pick of the Month

Miller Paint's Northwest color collection 'Verde'

My own personal home is almost the color of this sample home. I think I might just repaint our front door for the umpteenth time!

I love this natural, vibrant green. It's a perfect balance of yellow/blue undertones to really give that true green color.

On a personal note

Reagan is 10 months old!

She has 6 teeth, army crawls faster than you would believe and has finally found her voice; screeching, growling, laughing and 'talking'

I don't know where the time goes. I am currently figuring out how to juggle on-site duties, all office/paperwork combined with full time motherhood.

It's not for the faint of heart!

Happy Mother's Day!

Motherhood is tough. It's something that no one can really know what sort of a mental and physical toll it takes until you experience it for yourself.

Mommas, you are rockstars!

You deserved to be pampered, and I hope you all get to fully enjoy a well-earned day of rest!
