Newsletter - Spring 2021

A year ago we introduced the KH Newsletter and within weeks we went into the first of national lockdowns. We have all encountered challenges both business and personally in the last twelve months. All indications are that there will be a phased reopening of businesses and wider social activities from the

26th April 2021.

PLANNING UPDATES

Meeting Room

As we have reported in previous newsletters we can now advise that we have been successful in gaining planning for the new meeting room. This is a facility that will be available to all occupiers and the wider community for meetings and general business-related activities as there is a distinct lack of available, cost-effective meeting space for local businesses. We hope to be able to progress with this, on building warrant approval and associated groundworks, in the near future. The photograph illustrates how this new addition may look by way of artist impression.

SIGNAGE

In addition, we have gained permission for a new signboard at Kirkhill House Office Park. The starting point for this will be new directory boards/signage at Kirkhill, which is planned for April and following on with sign changes to Midholm. Both of these will provide a clearer name of location and directions to properties.

OFFICES TO LET

We are currently actively marketing Office suite 2 on the first floor of Kirkhill House. This suite comprises some 1500sqft spread over 4 rooms with associated kitchen and toilet facilities. The offices have benefitted from new carpeting, lighting and painting, along with WIFI/cat5 cabling. This suite is available for immediate occupation. BANKING

Our current banking provision is with Clydesdale Bank plc. Following a review of banking facilities, we have decided to move banks to Bank of Scotland. Following the completion of paperwork as required and other formalities a migration will be completed. We understand that Bank of Scotland will lead on this however when we are aware of the new account number/sort code and transfer date we will, of course, be in touch with you to provide the necessary information.

CYCLE TO WORK

We are currently considering alternative and more environmentally friendly ways for travel to and from work. As part of this, we would like to review the numbers and frequency of commuters that may use cycling as an option. As part of the review we have drawn up a short survey and it would be great to hear your views.

The survey is anonymous and by completing and returning this it will assist us to formulate our plans for encouraging and assisting with the use of a “cycle to work scheme”.
