FARM STAND OPENING DAY Thursday, May 4th 10 A.M. - 7 P.M. We originally planned to open on Thursday, April 28, but will be helping one of our momma's with her estate sale. We're sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding. We're looking forward to opening and sharing our goodies with you. |

Coming to a homestead near you: Embden Geese!!! That's right, *Goose* Pond Homestead will finally have Geese. (It's about time, right?!) We have wanted to add these honkers to our flock for quite some time now and the wait is finally over. Five pairs will arrive in May - 5 males and 5 females - and we'll need your help naming a few of them. We'll have more info next month about our name-competition...complete with prizes, of course. | | GUARDING - They will assist us in protecting their tinier feathered friends (chickens) from predators. |

| | GOSLINGS - Besides being ridiculously adorable, we hope to become a tiny, local hatchery where goslings and chicks may be purchased. |

| | EGGS - Their eggs are jumbo-sized and fun, but more importantly they are delicious and full of nutrients. |

| | WINTER - Besides enjoying spring, summer and fall, geese also do well during winter and have fun in the snow. |

The Farm Stand will be open 12PM-7PM. July 13-16 FARM STAND CLOSED Saturday, August 26 - FARM STAND CLOSED - Find us at Rock-n-Wool Winery in Poynette for their Taste Wisconsin Event. Sunday, September 24 - FARM STAND CLOSED - Find us at Prairie Winds in Rio for the Annual Fall Farm Hop.
