LET'S TALK ABOUT SAYING NO!

REALLY SUCCESSFUL REASONS TO START SAYING NO

 

Saying no consistently and confidently to things that you don’t want to do is imperative, not just for time management, but also for life balance. My theory is loud and proud! Say it loud and mean it—no guilt allowed because success will surely follow!

 

Saying No Will Lead to Success In:

  1. Your Day: Wanna make sure you get that morning walk in? Gotta say NO to the early morning meeting!
  2. Your Business Ventures: Wanna build your team and keep scaling? Gotta say NO to the low-level work and DELEGATE (there’s another shoutout coming on this).
  3. Your Relationships: Wanna make sure you are able to have time with friends, time for your partner? Gotta say NO to that late meeting (and find another time that works for YOUR schedule).
  4. Your Work/Life Balance: Wanna have time for meal planning, food prep, and getting to bed on time? Gotta say NO to anything that doesn’t fit into the big picture for you!
  5. Your Happiness: Saying NO to one thing opens up space to say YES to something that brings you more joy!

So, How Do You Say No When You Are Used to Saying Yes?

It starts by setting boundaries. How do you set clear & strong boundaries? Luckily, I’ve created a free worksheet to help you figure it out (download below).

 

I know deciding what you will allow vs. not allow can seem daunting.  However, if you understand your Core Four Values it becomes easier to determine what goes in your Yes, I Allow column vs. No, I Do Not Allow.

 

Yet, don't get me wrong. It doesn’t mean you only do what you love. There will still be some gray areas of things you will “tolerate.”  Even so, you will definitely feel more in control of your day—and life!
