Here we are heading into the “busy season”. This is a particularly full time in my life/our family with Ben's 16th birthday coming up (11/1), Steve’s birthday (11/5), and all things swim, lacrosse, Halloween, a nieces wedding, a long weekend and then heading into the Thanksgiving season! I truly love this time of year and particularly love when we’ll be “falling back” on Sunday 11/5. I know, I’m weird but I love when the day comes to an early close and gives us ample time to get cozy and quiet.
This year I’m challenging myself to do the Gratitude Challenge. This means everyday in November, I’ll be writing down 3 things I’m grateful for when I wake up and 3 things when I go to bed. I love the idea of bookending the day with gratitude – it’s amazing how many small things we all have to be grateful for. Will you join me? It’s simple and easy and has a lot of power to turn your mood around! Or if finding 6 things/day feels too difficult, this Gratitude Blog Post provides another way to do it.
Either way, I’m grateful you’re here reading this – enjoy the quiet season,
Sara
