As the war in Ukraine passes its 50 day mark, a mere 7 weeks, we wonder how the next 50 days will pan out and the 50 after that and the year after that. We are planning not only for the next trip, but for the one after and thinking how our operation will change over the coming months and years. Many things are uncertain, but one thing is, we will need your help for a long time to come.
Unfortunately that also means that we will need funds for a long time to come. As the sun start to shine it makes it easier to get outside and take up the challenges that are so successful in bringing in the cash. People have done many things for us over the years. Last year 2 girls, one of them my daughter jumped out of a plane, a few years before I walked the 3 peaks in 24 hours (ish) with the same daughter. So far this year Alonso has already been out on his bike and Phil has done his walk on crutches, and there is more to come. We have someone walking the Yorkshire 3 peaks for us and another lady has adapted a national challenge specifically for us. The 5k for May walk has become 5k a day in May walk.
You don't need to do a challenge that takes up time every day for a month, BUT, if everyone on this newsletter raised a mere £10, we could use this money to deliver in excess of £250,000 of aid, just a tenner! With that in mind we are launching our 5K for May challenge.
