Thank You for Participating in the

Holiday Health Maintenance Challenge!

Photo: Angela Howell hands over the prize to a Drainage District employee for meeting the requirements to complete the maintenance challenge.

We want to thank everyone who completed the Holiday Health Maintenance Challenge! It ran from November 7 to January 13.

Participants were required not to go over more than two pounds of their initial body fat mass measurement to receive a prize. There were also two bonus challenges anyone could participate in if they did not want to take part in the maintenance challenge. The alternate challenges consisted of participants either submitting a weekly step count of at least 10,000 steps or attending at least two fitness classes a week at the Precinct 2 Indoor Sports Complex.

We appreciate everyone's participation and hope you keep up the great work!

Healthy Boundaries and Work-Life Balance

Friday, February 24 at 10 A.M.

People often feel torn between work and family obligations and often report not having enough time for themselves.

This session will help participants identify various ways to achieve balance with personal, family, and work responsibilities. The conflicting demands of work and home can create stress that depletes the energy needed to get everything done. In this session, participants will learn to implement techniques for being more effective and more satisfied with both their home and work lives.
