Happy New Year! We hope that you had a lovely holiday and were able to spend time with loved ones.

This holiday season, Sending Sunshine was very busy with card deliveries. Specifically, we sent and delivered over 10,000 cards to 106 care facilities and seniors’ organizations across the country! As a result, our new tally of total cards delivered is over 76,000.

As well, due to the work of our Outreach Coordinators, we were able to partner with over 25 new care facilities and seniors' organizations, bringing us to a total of 277 partners.

We Are Hiring!

With the start of a New Year, we are looking to grow our team! Our current openings include a Logistics Manager and an Outreach Coordinator. 

As a Logistics Manager your main duty will be to pick up cards from our PO Box in Port Credit every week and deliver them to our Card Sorters. This position requires access to a car and you must be located in the GTA.

As an Outreach Coordinator, you will contact care facilities and senior organizations in Canada via the phone. The goal is to gain more partners so that we can distribute our cards to even more seniors across the country. This job can be conducted remotely from your own home.

This month we will also be announcing a couple other positions, including a Fundraising Coordinator (January 7) and Chapter Director (January 22). The applications for all current opportunities can be found on our website.

Please note that you do not need to be a student to join and we welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds!

We wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who contributed to our GoFundMe! We received $2165 in donations and we could not be more grateful! This support allowed us to make over one hundred deliveries in December to seniors across the country. Due to your generosity, we were able to spread some sunshine during the holiday season.
