WORCS Lake Havasu, AZ

MARCH 12-13

WORCS Round 3 MARCH 12-13 Lake Havasu, AZ. An eventful weekend for us. WORCS through in a new pro section for most riders and don't think it was something they practice much of in their off time. They ended up running them into the lake and around a pole and back toward the pond jump. It required a lot of patience and maturity to get out of it without drowning the motorcycle.

Congratulations to Justin Seeds as he could not be with us this weekend because he was getting married. He will be with us again at the next round.

TREVOR STEWART

5TH

 PRO

Trevor put in another solid ride. The sand was brutal and from everyones feedback, it was one of the gnarliest havasu tracks to date. Totaling 25 laps in non stop whoops. He would finish 5th on the day.

In his words:

"We had a rough one yesterday. Coming into the weekend I felt very capable and strong, but sometimes it just doesn’t go the way you want it. I got off to a real bad start and made it hard on myself from the beginning. With how tight the track was I couldn’t make too many passes as quickly as I wanted. I caught up to the guys in front of me and started clicking people off, until I was trying to make a pass on 5th and he cut my wheel and I went down. Gutted myself on the bars and truly never recovered. I felt like I was gonna throw up the whole race but just did my best to be active and stay out there. Bummed on my result, but happy I finished. I had really bad headache and body chills post race  yesterday and a 103 fever, and Threw up the whole drive home so I ended up getting checked out last night. Not sure if it was just exhaustion or I over worked myself early on. Just glad I’m a little better this morning."

THOMAS DUNN

4TH

PRO 250

Another solid WORCS race for Thomas. Finishing 4th and rode consistent for 24 laps. One of the harder courses to tackle being on a 250, he kept that thing wide open to finish  closely behind 3rd.

In his words:

"Another step in the right direction this weekend! Got a holeshot and led the first half a lap which was awesome! Fell back to 5th and then finished 4th. Getting more comfortable on the rougher tracks, ready to keep the ball rolling! Thank you team!"
