Timeless Love & The Write Life

The Write Life

Novels (All titles are subject to change.)

First Series:

  • Hope for Charity is my first novel which is set in 18th century England in the Georgian Era. I am seeking representation for this novel at present. At the moment, I am awaiting word back from a couple of Literary Agents.

  • Justice for Alethea is the sequel to Hope for Charity and is in the editing stage.

Second Series:

  • Love Lost and Love Found is the first book in my second series of novels set in the late 19th century in America and the Alaska territory.

  • The Love Lost and Love Found sequel is in the writing process.

The 3rd sequels for each series are in the planning stages.

Research trip on the horizon!

Planning a research/35th wedding anniversary trip to Alaska and the Yukon in British Columbia soon! This trip will follow much of the path my characters take in Love Lost and Love Found! Look forward to plenty of pictures!

Blog

Once a month, I post a new blog on my website. My latest series is called, The Life and Times of Hope for Charity. In this series, I share research from the era in which Hope for Charity and where, in effect, its sequels take place. This month look forward to learning about ladies' shoes.

 Guest Blogging

As of November 2023, I became a contributor to the MomQ blog and have now written two blogs for them and I am scheduled to write another for July. Here is the link for the March post I wrote called, "One Load of Laundry at a Time."

Short Stories and Poetry

If you are interested in short stories or poetry, you will find many of my short stories here and poetry here. The short story I wrote which Guidepost purchased for a compilation book has not yet been assigned a publication date, but I have been informed that I will be told when a date is set.

Waiting seems to be a permanent part of a writer's life. But there is always more writing and editing and readership building to do during the waits. Those three tasks keep me more than busy.

Research Trip Coming Soon!

My husband and I love to watch the birds out our back windows as we sit at our kitchen table. We especially love to watch the bluebirds as they take up residence in this bluebird house my father-in-law made.
