Hello everyone, we hope you're enjoying the summer and eagerly anticipating the upcoming term just as much as we are. Here is our summer newsletter which has lots of important information about the year ahead. Additionally, we'll be posting this message on the notice board section of the Members Hub on our website, making it easily accessible for future reference. |

Firstly, we just wanted to take a moment to congratulate everyone on all the great performances this past term! Chesham Fringe Festival, Wycombe's Summer Concert and Music in the Park were all fantastic moments to share our love of music and show friends and family what we can do. Everyone involved should be proud of what we accomplished. We received countless positive comments from our audiences, and on top of that we managed to raise a whopping £1,785 for Macmillan Cancer Support along the way! |

Looking AheadThe new choir layout in sessions has proved really successful, enabling us to hear the harmonies so much more as we sing and to see other choir members too! Now looking ahead to the Autumn Term and beyond. New pieces will be added but we also want to maintain well loved songs in order to keep enjoying them and to expand our sense of performance and delivery. We started a great acapella version of 'Goodnight Sweetheart' which we will continue to work on, Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus will be a highlight, we will pick up a few songs from Fiddler On The Roof again and quite possibly get to grips with Hernando's Hideaway - Olé! Alongside this, the usual mash-ups and rounds will ensure that everyone can pick up new music easily and we can get on with having a good old sing! Jo will email a list of songs to bring and we will also have new music to give out as we go. |

Thank you to all those who have already booked for next year's Weekender - our now annual weekend getaway. We will be returning to Moor Hall in Cookham. If you haven't booked yet, don't worry because there are still a few spots available, and we strongly encourage you to join us and give it a shot. Just have a chat with someone who attended this year, and they'll tell you how amazing the experience was! The venue for the event will be Moor Hall in Cookham. It is a beautiful location, offering ample space for socialising and a recently renovated conference suite. We are pleased to inform you that we've managed to keep the cost for this year's event as close as possible to last year. This includes accommodation, all meals and all other expenses related to the sessions. This year our amazing guest workshop leaders will be Alexander L'Estrange and Laurel Neighbour. Also, prepare to party on down with GaryR - a fantastic DJ and Karaoke compere with thousands of songs to sing either solo, in groups or just have a listen! So, mark your calendars and get ready for another unforgettable experience!! Click the button below to visit the Weekender page with further information and booking details. |

Recruitment As well as ladies, we are particularly aiming to recruit male singers to join our amazing group of T's & B's. We have an online advert which you can find on our Facebook page - please click "Share" to help spread the message to as many people as possible. Sharing is much more effective than "Liking" a post online as it gets it to places where it wouldn't otherwise be seen. We have also designed new flyers to display and put up around the town. We would like to get these out as soon as possible and so if you have links at work, in community centres, churches or anywhere else then please do get in touch and we can drop some flyers off with you to send out. |

Remaining SessionsIf you would like to check how many sessions you have left to start the new term with, please drop us an email and we'll let you know. Can we also remind you to please pay in advance of the sessions if you can rather than at the door, many more of you have started to do this recently which is great. It is very easy and secure to do and you will only use sessions as you attend. Please click on the button below to find the choir shop where sessions can be purchased. |
