We started this Newsletter with the intention of sharing what was new and good.
But it just didn't feel quite right.
So, we decided to talk about the elephant in the room...
well, the world actually.
Major personal transitions and upheaval are always difficult...
On top of that add;
Global crises, economic/political uncertainties, environmental concerns and natural disasters...
it's just a LOT.
Sometimes things can feel really overwhelming.
Closing the coworking part of EPIC and transitioning the business was tough...not gonna lie.
Feeling the heaviness of, well the world, is intense - scary - devastating.
With all of our transitions, upheaval and the weight of things, we have been taking a 'pause' to be kind to ourselves.
We've talked a lot lately about what it all means, how we can support each other, and how to find resilience and move through it all.
We are reminding ourselves of the power of kindness, compassion, and taking intentional and positive actions.
Here are some of the things we find helpful:
Be Kind
To yourself and to those around you.
Reflect and Recharge.
Understand that everyone is facing their own challenges.
Small acts of kindness have a ripple effect... So send the love.
Do Good
Find ways to be of service to your community and the world.
Volunteering, donating, or simply helping a neighbor can create a positive impact.
Vote.
Stand up for the things that matter to you.
Lean on Others
Remember that you're not alone.
Lean on your community for support and strength.
Together, we can navigate even the most challenging times.
Find Acceptance
Not every crisis has a silver lining, and that's okay.
Sometimes, the lesson is in finding compassion, unity, and strength amidst adversity.
Balancing Reality and Positivity
It's not easy to balance the weight of global crises and difficult personal transitions with daily life and business.
Find ways to cope while still finding ways to celebrate life.
Find gratitude.
_________
We can find solace in our shared humanity and our ability to come together to support and uplift one another.
While there may be no perfect antidote, the collective effort of kindness, compassion, and community can make a difference.
Sending an abundance of love,
Nicole and Julie
