Classes return this May with the following Covid-19 Precautions:
To keep the class sizes small, all sign-ups should be done online at prayerandpose.com in advance of each class. Once classes reach a max of ten participants (our pre-covid max was seventeen) I will close registration. Unfortunately this means no walk-ins, to accommodate a greater degree of social distancing than we had in past classes
Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat and 2 blocks. I do still have all of my equipment if you forget yours, however I'd like to encourage using our own equipment at this Covid return phase
There is a water cooler available- however please use the provided plastic cups and do not use personal water bottles to keep the nozzle away from the cooler spout for cleanliness
Please use our provided hand sanitizer every time you enter and leave the studio
Please do not come to classes with any symptoms of Covid 19. No exceptions.
Yoga is a highly breath involved activity and I do not allow masks. My experience in wearing a mask during exercise led to extreme dizziness and nausea. In addition, sweat between the mask and your face can create bacteria during exercise that is unhealthy to breathe. Please do not sign up for a class if you prefer to wear a mask; the importance of masks in a group setting over the past year is the number one reason I waited to bring back group classes to our studio. I believe we are now ready. I have been vaccinated for Covid 19 but please be aware that I do not require participants to be vaccinated and will not ask them per HIPPA regulations. Please be respectful of other participants as viewpoints differ widely on this topic and graciously distance to 3 feet from other partiicats that are not from your close circle of family or friends.
