The 2019 Holiday Boutique is Almost Here! We're getting ready for the 2019 Holiday Boutique--this year at the Canyon Plaza. Opening on Saturday, November 30th, we'll be open until Christmas Eve. Hours are tentatively 11 - 8pm, but may be adjusted based on customer activity. The Boutique gives our crafts members a chance to showcase their art as well as generate some holiday sales! We'll have wearable art, cards, jewelry and creative one-of-a-kind gifts. And, of course, we'll be selling See's Candies, too! If you want to be part of the Boutique, download the Call For Art here. If you want to pre-order See's Candies, click here; or download the flyer to see what's available. |

Mosaic Art Project Update We're almost done with the tiling portion of our Project! We have one more workshop scheduled for Saturday, November 16, from 10am to 4pm. As with our other workshops, it will be held at the Boys & Girls Club building. We may schedule more workshops, based on how much we get done in November. Our next steps are possibly more complicated. We need to frame and set the tiles into the three large panels. Then we need to engineer the installation of the three panels onto the front wall of the Boys & Girls Club building. Since the panels will be very heavy, it's not as easy as lifting them up and hooking them on the wall! We're still looking for engineers and/or local contractors who can help us with this phase of the project. In recognition, we will add your name to our list of sponsors. And if you don't have that type of technical skill, we can always use more donations. |
