The Miracle League planning team is hard at work to wrap up the final plans for construction to begin! We have a lot of behind the scenes work going on with our partners above. Once we are able to finalize the plans and secure permits, we will be able to announce an official groundbreaking date for the project.

We are all eager to see the work begin on the handicap accessible ball field and all-inclusive playground and cannot wait to get these kids playing ball!! In the meantime, we hope you will consider supporting our surrounding counties whose programs are in full swing - Abigail's Plan in Lawrenceburg and Murfreesboro Miracle League.

The Maury County Parks and Recreation is currently working to try and secure additional state funding that would help us specifically with the playground and restrooms. With the rising cost of building materials and inflation, we could greatly benefit from this in order to bring the community the best all-inclusive playground that we can.

In an effort to demonstrate community support, the Maury County Park and Recreation Department will hold two public input meetings to get your feedback on the county master plan. Together with our city and county government, we can make this an incredibly special playground. The Woodard Wildcats Student Council held their 3rd Annual Crayons for a Cause community service event on First Friday, March 1st. These amazing kids plan to donate their proceeds to the Miracle League again. Thank you to Principal Carol Ann Jent, Vice Principal Julie Wolaver, and Faculty Leads Lacey Cherry, Kira Holt and Dovie MacPherson for teaching these kids to be leaders in their own community. They will always be our "Angels in the Outfield" who helped us make this project happen. We thank each and every one of you involved in this incredible school project...your service and dedication to the cause will never be forgotten!

The GFWC of Maury County Women's Club recently funded the planting of two Tulip Poplars in the park! Thank you for this special donation to beautify our project. We are extremely grateful for the support.
