La Pétanque!

What’s La Pétanque, you ask? It’s an exciting game with origins stretching back to...let's say a very long time ago.

It’s a favorite pastime for families, friends, and rivals alike, especially in the South of France.

In essence, you toss metal balls, aiming to get them as close as possible to a small wooden target (le cochonet).

It’s incredibly easy to learn and a blast for everyone involved!

Don't miss out—Jump in before your friends rave about it...and you're left out!

FUN QUESTION:

SO! what is La Rentrée?

This is highly simplified, but......In the U.S., Labor Day signals the shift from summer to fall. But in France, this transition is marked by "la rentrée," meaning "the return", which is akin to our back-to-school season, but with a very different twist "a la Française", of course.

It follows a sacred long-standing French tradition where nearly all of France takes their four to six weeks vacation in July and/or August to "recharge".
