Adventures in Expansion

What can the practice of microdosing psilocybin show us?

As many of you know I have been working more and more in the last few years with advising patients on the practice of microdosing psilocybin. I am beginning to see some patterns emerge that are impressive and profound! This ancient medicine has a lot to offer us in this modern world. Here are some of the benefits that I see:

  • A gentle increasing of the volume of our own intuition, allowing us to hear a voice inside that offers clarity along with a healthy dose of self-compassion

  • A subtle widening of perception in our daily lives, noticing the small details of beauty in our day and really feeling that beauty in our bodies

  • An increased sensation of being in the flow of life, not having the need to control things as much, but allowing the universe to unfold as it is already doing without us!

  • An emerging sense of deep gratitude

  • Being able to see the potential that we hold for change and feeling the excitement as we own our purpose on earth and follow our truth

  • A greater sense of compassion for all beings everywhere

  • Feeling more connected to everything, which I believe is closer our natural state and helps us feel at home in the world and in our bodies

All of these effects mingle together to help keep depression and anxiety at bay as well as helping us to grow and enjoy our lives more. I am also engaged in a wonderful self-paced microdosing course with Juliana Rose Goldstone (https://www.boldlyembodied.com/) and Beana Bern (https://www.rootstockretreat.com/medicine-work) which I am really enjoying! Check this course out if you’re looking for an in depth education about the history and context of this medicine and if you’re ready to do a deep dive introspection with plenty of guidance from two very experienced practitioners.

If you’re interested in a microdosing consult with me, you can book HERE. Once again, thank you for trusting me and growing together on this healing path.

Cheers!

Emma

In other news…my practice where I now live in Randolph, VT is growing! This is very exciting and I have been loving working at Integrative Health. For the winter months, December-April, I will be paring down to one Sunday a month at Vital Vessel Apothecary in West Brattleboro. Between the commute, the weather, and the unpredictabilities of winter illness I’ve decided this is the most realistic decision. I will be adding these dates to my online scheduler very soon. I will also be offering 75 minute sessions in addition to one hour follow-ups to allow more time for whatever it is that you need- herbal formulation, more catch up time, massage, cupping, or moxa.

I have also added other ways to work with me at a distance to my offerings, phone or zoom consults and a soon to come online herbal store! Check these out at:
https://www.emmaacupuncture.com/ways-to-work-with-me. You can also still get access to high quality herbal medicines by connecting with Alyssa at Vital Vessel Apothecary.
