Central Detroit Christian is an amazing organization that services three zip codes in Detroit. We helped them help the parents who come to shop at their Christmas Shop. This shop provides children’s gifts to parents so their children can experience an exciting Christmas morning! We were happy to provide a wide variety of gifts such as coats, hats/gloves, crafts, dolls, monster trucks, magnetic blocks, headphones, pop tubes and more! We also extended their reach by providing an Amazon Wish List for anyone else who wanted to donate a gift or two. |

In the words of Kyle Lake, Programs Director at CDC: "we successfully assisted more than 165 families at the Pride for Parents Christmas Store, benefiting over 400 youth. Your collective efforts were instrumental in making this achievement possible, and we express our heartfelt gratitude for the privilege of serving alongside you. We extend a sincere thank you for your unwavering dedication and belief in our mission and vision." THANKS, EVERYONE! |

We had the honor of doing a Gratitude presentation at Japhet School in Clawson. This school is committed to academics AND character education. Character ed is integrated into every aspect of their school life. Seggourney made her debut and hammed it up! What a great group of students, staff and faculty! Thanks for having us, Japhet School! |

We have a new YouTube Show for kids - The Good Eggs with Ms. Poach! Check out the first three episodes. We will be working on more episodes this year. This series will cover all 12 chapters of Book 1, where the Eggs learn about the importance of being kind and compassionate. Episode 1 focuses on Understanding, Episode 2 talks about Forgiveness and Episode 3 on Gratitude. |

WHERE ARE THE EGGS THIS MONTH? (Book 2, Chapter 5) January - Japan The Eggs landed in Tokyo on January 1 in time for the three-day celebration of the New Year, Shogatsu. They met their new friend, Takumi, and his grandfather. They traveled on the Bullet Train from Tokyo to Takumi’s hometown of Kyoto where they celebrated the New Year watching fireworks and flying kites. The Eggs learned many new words and customs while in Japan. |

As you can guess, Benedict struggled with a couple of the customs like bowing and taking off his shoes, but he did enjoy slurping his ramen! Their magnificent trip to Japan came to a close with something they knew how to do well: play baseball. The Eggs were honored to play a practice game with a Japanese team! |
