The Works of the Rev. D. W. Cahill
Our latest video covers a compilation of sermons, essays, and reflections by the Irish-American Priest, Fr. Daniel Cahill, who went to his reward in 1864. Fr. Cahill was a celebrated preacher and polemicist in his day and labored strenuously to rescue as many souls as possible from the grasp of Protestantism. Of note in his writings, and highlighted in our video, is his emphasis on the parallelism between the separate acts of transubstantiation in the Scriptures and that which occurs on the altar during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
