We're gearing up to do our annual Gingerbread this week. It's always a lot of fun to have the whole crew working & creating together.

Tis a busy time of year as we dive into festivities while also trying to wrap up the year well. How's it going with your Bible read-through??

My reading plan is currently in the New Testament and has me reading a full book almost every day, so even that pace of that devotional time feels fast. I find myself wondering about that young Timothy and what he would have written about his experiences with Paul... How did he respond to statements like "Train yourself to be godly." What does that mean for us in our current world?

I'm praying about my Bible reading goals for next year and how that might look different/same than this year. What about you?

I know it's hard to carve out time for creativity amidst all the baking and shopping. Anytime I do manage it, I feel so much more settled in my spirit. Thanks to those of you who have blessed me by sharing some of your recent pages, too. It's so encouraging to see how the Lord is working through us one page at a time, drawing us together and ultimately nearer to Him.

Looking Ahead to 2022: Drawing Near to God

One of my goals for 2022 is to complete the back side of my ABC pages. If you've been around a while, you've probably heard my tip of focusing on one letter a week. This gets you through the alphabet twice in a year. It's a simple strategy for me to remember to give that particular journal a little love & attention throughout the year.

As we enter this week of Christmas, may PEACE surround you and the JOY of Jesus fill you like never before. I'll be praying over you, my BQ sister, however you may need to experience this season in a unique way or with a different perspective.
