Happy Friday, friends!
December is here and so far we're off to a solid start. The sun is often shining to brighten the days of colder temps and my dining room smells amazing from the sweet aroma of this year's annual Gingerbread creation: Mills Ski Mountain. It's a favorite family tradition we've kept going for 20+ years.
What's a treasured tradition that you do during this season with your family?
Do you have special ornaments that spark a story each year? What role do Christmas lights play in your family's festivities? My family likes to savor each holiday without rushing into the next, so the Christmas decor doesn't come out and the house lights don't come on til after Thanksgiving.
This week we're busting out all the Christmas-y things and enjoying the soft twinkly lights of the tree in the evening. December is the perfect time to reflect on the Light of God, don't you think?
